Flight Delays

If your flight is delayed by more than 3 hours, you may be entitled to compensation of up to £1,300 per passenger, depending on the distance of your flight.

Flight Cancellations

If your flight is cancelled less than 14 days before departure, you're entitled to compensation unless the airline can prove extraordinary circumstances.

Denied Boarding

If you're denied boarding due to overbooking, you're entitled to compensation and assistance, including re-routing or refund.

Missed Connections

If you miss a connecting flight due to a delay on your first flight, you may be entitled to compensation for the entire journey.

Important Notes:

  • Compensation is only payable if the disruption was within the airline's control
  • Extraordinary circumstances (weather, security, strikes) may exempt airlines from paying compensation
  • You have up to 6 years to make a claim in the UK
  • Claims can be made for flights departing from or arriving in the EU/UK
